The Joybus protocol is a proprietary serial protocol by which the Nintendo 64 PIF (and GameCube) communicates with controllers, controller accessories (Memory Pak, Rumble Pak, etc.), keyboards, mice, and other devices plugged into one of the four console controller ports.
