A flashcart (so named because they usually have flash) is a cartridge with onboard memory that can be used to develop homebrew. The following flashcarts have been produced for the N64:
- EverDrive64 (x7 is latest revision as of 2021)

- Neo Myth 64
- Retrostage N64 Blaster
- Chinese Reproduction Carts (All CIC & Save types, rewritable)
